Privacy Policy

We collect the following data depending on how you use Remoti:

• Account data: Email address and display name when you sign in via Firebase Authentication (email/password or Google OAuth).
• Profile data: Skills, job preferences, salary range, timezone, regions, and social links — only if you choose to fill in your profile.
• Usage data: Saved jobs, job alerts, and application tracker entries (tracker data is stored locally in your browser).
• Newsletter: Email address when you subscribe to our weekly digest.
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We store your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.
• Analytics: Page views and Core Web Vitals via Vercel Analytics, only with your consent.

• Consent: Analytics cookies (you can accept or decline via our consent banner), newsletter subscription.
• Contract: Account creation, subscription management, saved jobs, and alerts — necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interest: Error reporting and security headers to keep the platform secure and functional.

We share data with these processors to operate Remoti:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and push notifications. Privacy Policy
• Stripe: Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Privacy Policy
• Resend: Newsletter emails and welcome messages. Privacy Policy
• Vercel: Hosting, analytics, and speed insights (with your consent). Privacy Policy

Remoti uses no third-party tracking cookies. We use:

• localStorage: Theme preference, analytics consent choice, application tracker data, and Firebase auth session.
• Vercel Analytics: A privacy-friendly analytics script that runs only when you accept the consent banner. No cross-site tracking.

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

• Access: Download all your data from your profile page using the "Download My Data" button.
• Rectification: Edit your profile and preferences at any time.
• Erasure: Delete your entire account (profile, Firebase Auth, and all associated data) from the profile page.
• Withdraw consent: Decline analytics via the consent banner. Unsubscribe from the newsletter via any email footer link.
• Data portability: Export your data as JSON from the profile page.

• Account data: Retained until you delete your account.
• Newsletter contacts: Retained until you unsubscribe.
• Tracker data: Stored only in your browser's localStorage — never sent to our servers.
• Analytics: Aggregated, non-personal data retained by Vercel per their retention policy.
